I am a PhD student under supervision of Dr. Miguel B. Araújo and Dr. Bill Kunin. I will read my PhD at the University of Évora, Portugal.
My research interests are focused on spatial analyses of species occurrences and their relationship with the environment at different spatial scales. I have been working on the effect of different factors in the performance of niche-based distribution models. Recent work has also focused on modelling tools for the analysis of species coexistence and animal dispersion in freshwater ecosystems. As a zoologist I am specialized in herpetology and I focus my work particularly on the ecology of freshwater turtles.
