IBERIA GAP PhD Studentship

Announcement of position – PhD studentship in Conservation Biology

The Biodiversity and Global Change Lab offers a PhD studentship to a highly motivated and skilled student. We place a premium on quantitative skills, intellectual creativity, hard work, and independence. Students in the lab are also expected to speak and write English proficiently. We are seeking students who are excited about biogeography and conservation planning and who will work hard and publish their research in refereed journals. Attitude and commitment are at least as important as academic grades and experience.

We also favour students with experience in GIS, good background in statistics, and knowledge of a programming language. A BSc in Biology, Environmental Sciences, Geography, or related topics is desirable. English and Spanish as a first or second language are also required.
